About Muntiv

In short: we're a for-profit company with a soft spot for animals β€” not a charity, and gifts aren't tax-deductible. We say so plainly.

Muntiv is operated by Muntiv LLC, a for-profit social-impact company in Wyoming, United States. We're not a charity, nonprofit, or 501(c)(3) organization.

Muntiv creates and runs its own animal-welfare campaigns, working with rescue & welfare partner organizations. We tell the stories, market the campaigns, and reach the people β€” so help reaches the animals who need it.

Because we're a for-profit company, contributions made through Muntiv are not tax-deductible charitable donations, and Muntiv LLC is not a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. No surprises β€” we just want you to know up front.

How Funds Are Used

Muntiv Campaigns

Every gift made through Muntiv supports animal welfare. Here's how your gift is used:

🐾
40 – 60%
Partner organizations

40 – 60%
Platform operations
Marketing, campaigns & growth

Platform operations include campaign creation, digital marketing, content production, payment processing, website hosting, and operational costs. These activities are what turn a gift into help β€” they let us reach more people and bring more support to our partner organizations.

Muntiv creates and runs each campaign, and shares a meaningful part of what a campaign brings in with the rescue & welfare partners we work with β€” under our agreements with them. The exact share varies by campaign and isn't a fixed or guaranteed percentage.

Where your gift goes

Spotlight & The Circle

Muntiv's home is animal welfare β€” it's most of what we do. But every now and then, something else calls. The Circle and Spotlight are how we answer: a way to support causes beyond our usual circle. Here's where those gifts go:

🀝
≈ 80%

Platform operations
Creating & running the campaign

Muntiv creates and runs each campaign, and most of every gift goes toward the cause it supports β€” the work welfare partners do on the ground. A smaller part covers creating, running, and growing the campaign: content, marketing, payment processing, hosting, and operations. The exact split varies by campaign and isn't a fixed or guaranteed percentage.

Spotlight
Focused Β· time-limited

A focused campaign we run from time to time. When a cause needs everyone at once, a Spotlight rallies support fast β€” for a limited window β€” so your gift lands right when it counts.

The Circle
Ongoing Β· monthly

An ongoing way to give to a cause you choose, month after month. The Circle is steady support β€” a standing gift that keeps showing up, long after the moment passes.

Campaign Content

The animals in our campaigns illustrate the kinds of situations our partners face every day. When you give, your support goes to organizations that genuinely care for animals in similar situations across our partner network β€” it isn't a payment earmarked for one specific named animal. Where a need is already met, or a partner can't use funds, we may direct support elsewhere within the network.

Recurring gifts & cancellation

If you choose a monthly gift, we show the amount, the schedule, and when the first and next charges happen β€” before you confirm. You can cancel anytime, in one click β€” no phone call, no email, no hoops. Manage or cancel your monthly gift right from your account, or tap the link in any receipt we email you. It takes effect immediately, and cancelling is as easy as starting.

Cancelling stops future charges only. Gifts that have already been processed are final and aren't refundable, except where applicable law requires. And if something ever looks off β€” a duplicate charge, say β€” just reach out and we'll make it right.

Change your mind after cancelling? You have a 7-day window to bring your support back with one tap, so you don't have to start over. It's a convenience β€” it never gets in the way of cancelling.

Refunds & honesty about outcomes

One-time gifts are generally non-refundable, unless the law requires it or we approve it (a duplicate charge, for example). Our campaigns support real animal-welfare work with our rescue & welfare partners β€” but we can't promise a specific outcome, and we'd always rather be honest than overpromise.

Disputes & the housekeeping

If a disagreement ever comes up, these Terms ask both of us to resolve it through binding arbitration instead of court, and to bring claims individually rather than as a class action. It's a common, mutual approach β€” and we keep it fair: you'll have a window to opt out, and small claims can still go to small-claims court.

Please use Muntiv lawfully and honestly. We may update these Terms (we'll flag material changes). These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, and if any part can't be enforced, the rest still stands.

What we collect

In short: we collect what we need to process your gift, send your receipt, keep things secure, and measure our campaigns β€” and you stay in control.

  • Your email β€” and a phone number if you add one, or if it comes through your payment method (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or Venmo). It's never required.
  • Payment basics β€” billing ZIP/country and the last 4 digits of your card (never the full number), plus amount, date, and campaign.
  • Device and usage information β€” your IP address and browser details, a visitor ID we set in a first-party cookie, the click ID an ad platform (like Meta) attaches when you arrive from an ad, which pages and steps you use, and performance and error signals β€” so we can keep the site working, prevent fraud, and see what's helping.

Why we use it

To deliver and confirm your gift, send your receipt, keep your account secure, prevent fraud, measure and improve our campaigns, and run the platform. We also use AI behind the scenes to help review campaigns and spot issues β€” but we don't use your personal information to train AI models, and AI never makes legal or eligibility decisions about you.

Who we share it with

Trusted partners that help us operate: payment processors (Stripe and PayPal), the companies that host, secure, and monitor the site, our email provider, and the advertising platforms we measure with (today, Meta) β€” each under data-protection terms. To measure ads, we send the platform your IP address and browser details, the click ID from its ad, and scrambled (hashed) versions of your email, phone, name, and location β€” never your card details. This is on by default for U.S. visitors so we can see which campaigns actually help animals; you can turn it off whenever you like β†’ Your privacy choices. We also honor recognized browser privacy signals automatically.

You're in control

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your information β€” and we honor recognized browser privacy signals automatically. Here's exactly how β†’ Your privacy choices.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we reasonably need it. Your profile stays until you ask us to delete it. Payment and audit records stay as long as tax and dispute rules require, the way any business keeps its books. Privacy requests are kept for 24 months, site-usage signals for 13 months, performance signals for 90 days, and error reports and technical logs for weeks, not years.

Cookies, in plain language

We use cookies and similar technologies (including marketing pixels and conversion measurement) to keep the site working, understand what's helping, and improve our campaigns.

The kinds we use

  • Essential β€” needed for the site to work (security, your session, payments). Always on.
  • Analytics β€” help us understand how the site is used.
  • Marketing β€” measure and improve our campaigns across platforms.

Your choice

Set your preferences anytime on Cookie preferences. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it automatically: we stop sharing your information with advertising platforms (like Meta and TikTok) for targeted ads. The essentials still work β€” we'll always process your gift, send your receipt, keep the site secure, and measure our own campaigns. GPC turns off the ad-sharing, not the basics.

Choose what you're comfortable with

You're in charge β€” Essential cookies keep the site working, always. We turn the others on to learn what's working, improve our campaigns, and reach more people β€” and you're always in control: turn any of them off anytime, and we honor GPC automatically.

Don't sell or share my information

You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your information (and of targeted advertising) with the toggle below β€” and if your browser already sends a privacy signal, we honor it automatically.

Delete my information

Want us to delete your information? Just ask β€” we'll take care of it. No guilt trips, no hoops.

Send a quick request with your email β€” one form.
2

A simple check so we delete the right account.
3

We handle it promptly; if we need longer, we'll say why.

Some records we keep where the law requires (for example, payment records) β€” we'll explain what and why.

Stop the emails (unsubscribe)

Our marketing emails always carry a one-click unsubscribe β€” right in the footer, no login, no password. Click it and you're out immediately. Prefer fewer instead of none? Dial it down to just the updates you want β€” no hard feelings, come back anytime. Receipts and payment notices are tied to your gift, so those keep coming β€” but you can close your account anytime.
